Daniel Moon Wandell-Walker is the son of Kevin Walker and Scotty Wandell, and the younger brother of Olivia. He was born via surrogate from Scotty and Kevin's good friend, Michelle.

Daniel Moon Wandell-Walker is the son of Kevin Walker and Scotty Wandell. He was born via surrogate from Scotty and Kevin's good friend, Michelle. However, Michelle is not Daniel's biological mother, she was just the carrier. Both Scotty and Kevin thought that Michelle had lost this baby by a miscarriage. In reality, she hid the fact that she was pregnant and carried the baby to term. Scotty sees Michelle is back in town and soon realizes she has a son that would be about the same age as their potential baby. Michelle is reluctant to give him back. She then leaves Daniel on Justin Walker's door-step. Justin brings Daniel home to Kevin, Scotty, and their adopted daughter, Olivia. It is found out that Scotty Wandell is indeed Daniel's biological father. However, Kevin is so thrilled to have this child, he explains how is does not bother him in the least.
In the beginning, Olivia is very jealous of Daniel. She explains that Daniel was Scotty and Kevin's first choice. She feels as though she is not needed anymore. Scotty explains that with this situation, she is needed more than ever. Daniel is new to the family, just as she was at one time. He reminds her how scary it was in the beginning and that it is her place to help welcome him into their world and the crazy Walker clan.
